AMPKY started off as an idea in 2017 as a way for visionary advanced manufacturing professionals to address the growing technical skills gap crisis in the industry and to communicate the truth about modern manufacturing.
Two years later, AMPKY was formally established in Kentucky as a nonprofit corporation whose focus was on enhancing the image of the manufacturing industry and its career pathway opportunities to ensure that talent pipelines are better connected to educational and training resources, leading to full-time employment. In April of 2020, AMPKY was recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization.
One of AMPKY’s goals is to build an industry-led board of thirteen members from manufacturing and service support industries (e.g., logistics, research & development, utilities, energy, etc.)
AMPKY is currently in discussions to secure funding and support for its next phase launch in 2021. Click on the button below to download a copy of the AMPKY Presentation.
